Hey there Friends!
Today is a good day! I completely forgot to share with you this pint size table and chair set I did for my newest great niece! Isn’t this just the cutest thing!!
As you can see it was a little worse for wear when I found it at one of my favorite thrift stores. A lady in line behind me wanted it too, but I was fortunate to have been there first. My great niece just turned one and should get a few years of fun out of it!
What I Used
Dixie belle Sea Glass was used to see how well the paint would cover the stains and it was perfect with no bleed through. Soft Pink and Fluff were the perfect choice to make this pint size table really girlie.
After two coats, I taped the stripes! They were so easy to make with my new favorite tape for delicate surfaces Frogtape! Thanks Christy at Confessions of a Serial Do-It-Yourselfer for the product endorsement!
The lines were crisp and the Frogtape was super easy to remove making this my go to paint tape in the future! You can check it out here! (No I didn’t get paid to say this!)
Look how cute this set looks after adding the stripes.
Using my Silhouette Cameo 3, you can see the one I use here I added her name to the pint size chair! I printed it out like a stencil and then painted the name in Dixie Belle Fluff.
As you can see I don’t have many toys or props to use for a situation like this, only a bunny! Oh how I wish I had a tea set!!
I used Dixie Belle Best Dang Wax in clear for both the table and chairs.
Delivery in South Louisiana
The pint size set will travel to North Louisiana and transferred to my brother in law to complete the trip to South Louisiana. He has the privilege of delivering it to to my niece on his next visit. I can’t wait to see if it fits her!
This was a fun project, it’s not often I get to do something so cute and small for someone so cute and small!!
Until next time!
