I have some news to share!
I’ve applied at several Antique Malls for booth space!
I’ve been wanting to do this for a few years but never seemed to be in the right physical location and the right state of mind at the same time. Now that we appear to be more settled in Texas, I have decided if I’m ever going to do this, now is the time. We’re not getting any younger!!
All that pre application anguish! Only to be put on a waiting list and maybe not get a call until Spring! Oh well! I think that could be a good sign that booth owners are happy and the traffic is good. I really can’t look at low turnover as a negative. So now I have more time to get things ready, work on my blog, improve my photos, look for a house, learn even more software, shop and do my best to take care of hubby and maybe clean house once in a while!!
They require photos? Who knew?
One of the Antique Mall applications required that I send pictures of the type of items I plan to have in my booth and so I thought I would share some of those pictures with you today. The plan is to have a variety of items from painted furniture, woodworking items, vintage finds, repurposed things and well, anything else that catches my eye. Maybe even some of my jewelry!
I had to pull these pictures together quickly. I did a quick photo shoot in the garage and the kitchen using many of the items I’ve made since I moved to Texas. Most of the vintage items I picked up in Louisiana while visiting my Dad and Sister. It’s been so nice being close enough to visit, only 4.5 hours away! So much better than California or Florida! It’s nice to be close to family 🙂
This really is my garage!
And just so you believe me when I say i took most of these pictures in the garage, I included this ugly picture for proof! By opening the door to the garage I was able to get some better light, but carrying all this stuff downstairs and then back up again in a single afternoon was tiring. I know, it gave me some much needed exercise!!
If you have any pointers or information about having a booth in an Antique Mall please let me know!!
Thanks for hanging on ’til the end! and remember..
