Thank you so much for stopping by today to see my apple green Christmas tablescape! It may seem that I’m a little behind because I just finished decorating it this morning, but it’s only December 3rd and we still have plenty of time to enjoy it!
Today I’ve been listening to Chrstimas tunes and eating those soft peppermints! All the little things that get me in the mood for Christmas decorating. And yes I can see them too! The red and green lights all over the place are the new laser light I had on inside!
It might be a little hard to see, but this is the tray I picked up while shopping in Ruston over the Thanksgiving holiday. My sister found it and insisted it was a great piece and she was right! I added the red Candy Cane stripe paper to the bottom to make it more festive. I plan to use this as a pattern to make a few more trays similar to this one for my booth at the antique mall coming in the spring!!
All the greenery came from Louisiana. I brought back an entire bag of clippings from the junipers in my sister’s back yard! We’ll see how long they last, but so far they are holding up great! The juniper doesn’t really have a smell but I’m still enjoying the fresh greenery.
Can you spot the Thrift Store finds?
You may not know, but apple green has been my favorite color for many years, so when it starting showing up in Chrstimas decorations a few years ago, I was on board.
See those addictive little candies calling my name! They are so soft and delicious! Check out the chalkboard and cake plate I made from some thrift store finds! It’s always so fun looking for treasures!
Next item on my list to decorate is the front porch! And yes it will probably have some Apple Green showing up there too!
Enjoy your holiday season by giving yourself permission to relax and enjoy your family and friends! And don’t forget to banish the “P” word (Perfect) from your decorating and entertaining efforts! You’ll be so happy you did!
‘Til next time,
